On 26-27 June 2012, the results of the first large-scale European field operational test of advanced driver assistance systems will be made public. This event will take place in Brussels, Belgium and will be hosted by Autoworld, Brussels (BE).

19th ITS World Congress

This year the ITS World Congress will take place in Vienna, Austria. The theme of the congress will be 'Mobility' specifically, systems for improving flow of traffic. Central subjects include IT-solutions that improve the efficiency and safety of traffic, how these solutions have to be networked, the responsibility of policies and future challenges.

Around 7,000 experts and participants will be discussing issues, how traffic can become

•  safer,

• more efficient and

•  more sustainable.

The Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology (BMVIT) will host this event. AustriaTech is responsible for the content and will organise technical demonstrations. DI Dr. Reinhard Pfliegl is chair of the event.
